Looking for the hospitality chalet experience? The Clubhouse Chalet offers the opportunity for you to have that private chalet experience typically available only to companies and large groups. Available for individual purchase, the Clubhouse Chalet includes a catered grill lunch served from 11:30am to 2:00pm along with snacks, soft drinks and draft beer served all day. Watch the show from the box seating located just in front of the Clubhouse tent or take a few steps onto the private reserved beach area, grab a beach chair, and enjoy the show from the sand with a prime view right on the waterline. The Clubhouse Chalet is located just south of the Parachute Landing and Beach Incursion Zone so you’ll be in the front row for all the jumps. You’ll receive an air show t-shirt, commemorative credential and program guide great for collecting autographs of pilots and performers 
that come to visit during the show. A parking permit is included with every Clubhouse Chalet purchase so you’ll park near Show Center on the loop road in Birch State Park. Shuttle service is provided in the park from several stops directly to the park entrance on A1A across from the Clubhouse Chalet. Click Here for a map.

Are kids free ?
Kids under 6 are free in the Bennett Auto Supply Drop Zone, but not in the Clubhouse Chalet or the Colonels Club
I bought 2 of these tickets for me and my wife. My son is 6 months old. You said via email that there is no charge for him. Is this correct or have things changed?
No charge for a 6 month old, that would qualify as not needing a seat =)
Seems to be confusion over whether children need tickets or not. Does a 7 month old need a ticket for the chalet???

We have a parking permit for the show what is the best way to get to the park?
Depending upon which parking pass you have, if drop zone and pass for Galleria, you can walk over from Galleria mall
I have 2 Chalet passes for Sunday. Do I use those passes to park @ Birch Park or do I need something else?

Do we get wristands so that we may come and go during the event? I will be staying at the Sheraton up the beach and may want to go back to my room during the day as needed.
Yes, you’ll get a wristband when you arrive and be able to come and go.
Are the headline performances different on Saturday and Sunday? For example do the thunderbirds perform both days? I’l be stretched to make it in time on Saturday and wonder if I’ll miss much if I come Sunday only. Thanks.
The performances are the same on both days with the exception of a few military flyovers that may just be on Saturday.
Hello, I have just purchased two clubhouse tickets. On the ticket it states no re-entry, no re- admittance. Can I verify that I am able to leave the area and come back?

Kids and adults are the same price since it is by the seat. The Clubhouse is handicap accessible
My son is 3 and usually sits on my lap, would I still need to buy him a ticket if he doesn’t sit on a chair?

The Clubhouse Chalet only includes beer. Beer and wine are both included in the Colonel’s Club

They will probably sell out in advance as there are only 128 seats per day available. If you call 877-377-8499 they can place your order over the phone and mail you the tickets.
What if it rains all day, will the show go on? If not will there be a full refund? Will the F-15 and the F-16 be demoing those days?
Tickets are non-refundable. The show is paused if there is a rain shower and resumed again after it passes. The USAF has stood down all F-15, F-16 and A-10 demo teams for 2012. They only allow flyovers.
So your saying if the rain doesn’t stop and there’s “no show”, we do not get a refund?
For Chalet club, we’ll have a private beach? And it said grab a beach chair to sit on beach. Will there be chair for that, or bring your own with unbrella?
How long is the Chalet club open for the airshow? Is it still serving beer and soft drinks of the after show? Is there a fireworks show after?
As in past years, will there be a practice run of the jets on the Friday before the show. Usually schools were allowed to attend and this worked out well for us.
With the reduced footprint requirement for the show, Friday is now a load in day for Show Center infrastructure
My wife is an insulin dependent diabetic. I noticed after I purchased and printed the tickets to the Clubhouse Chalet that it indicated that coolers are restriced. We need to bring specific snacks and fruit for her (that we won’t find anywhere at the show). Since the ticket said restricted, but not prohibited, can I bring a small cooler to the Chalet for medical reasons?
Yes, coolers are permitted they just cannot contain any alcoholic beverages
Is there a dress code? My Husband purchased tix a few weeks ago, and it looks like a Derby kind of event……
Nope, no dress code. Some people will stay in the chalet, some will go on the beach, depends what you prefer
We bought 2 txs for Chalet. Unclear if beach chairs are provided. I know that white wooden chairs are provided for seating behind the sand, but do you drag these out onto the beach or are separate beach chairs provided? Or do you have to bring your own?
There may be a limited number available, best bet would be to bring your own so you know you have chairs

There will be lane adjustments with alot of congestion, so arrive early, but yes

What do the citizen taxpayers of Fort lauderdale, who cant afford to purchase tickets, get? A seat on the 5 yard line? .
You will find plenty of beach area to observe north an south of the Drop Zone, however you will be out of range of the announcer and displays

What is the difference between the Colonel seating tickets and the President’s club seating?
Now that the Air Show has been cancelled for Sunday, will there be any concession for patrons who purchased tickets for the Clubhouse Chalet or similar venues? I see that the ticket says “rain or shine”, however the price I paid includes sales tax, a ticket fee, a T-shirt and a program. Will there be any accomodation for those of us in this situation? It seems to me that a “good business practice” would be to do something for us. How you handle this will determine whether I buy tickets next year.
Although the Lauderdale Air Show has a no refunds policy, due to the unexpected weather and public safety, we will honor Sunday’s tickets for the 2013 Lauderdale Air Show.
