The Bennett Auto Supply Drop Zone is the hot spot to watch the show! Enjoy a hassle-fee day at the Lauderdale Air Show at the aerial 50 yard line in your beach chair as the jets roar overhead and the jumpers land right before your eyes! Food and beverage including beer and frozen drinks will available for purchase and restrooms will be on site so you don’t
have to leave the sand, surf or the fun. Enjoy the concert quality sound system and legendary air show narrator Larry Strain as your emcee for the day. Stop by the performer autograph tent accessible only to Premium Viewing ticket holders where many of the pilots will stop by after they fly for a meet-and-greet and to sign autographs in the free event program provided to each guest! The Bennett Auto Supply Drop Zone will feature a free access inflatable play zone so the kids will have as much fun as the adults! Kids age 5 and under are admitted free to the Drop Zone. Canopy tents less than 10′x10′ in size are permitted in the Drop Zone but need to be set up near 
the dune line so they don’t block the view. You can purchase your tickets online or in person at any Bennett Auto Supply store!
I am a handicapped individual and have A valid Florida Handicap parking sticker. I am planning on getting Premium Viewing seats at either the chalet or the drop zone my question is will there be parking available near ground zero at Sunrise and A1A? A parking pass for Birch State Park is included with the Clubhouse Chalet. If you present a handicapped tag upon entry to the park they will direct you to a special parking area very close to the Clubhouse Chalet. If you purchase Drop Zone tickets, it is likely that handicapped parking permits will be available for purchase at an additional cost at Galleria Mall. Still working on the details with them.

There will be limited chair rentals available in the Drop Zone, would suggest bringing your own. Currently, the only tickets that include reserved parking (in Birch State Park) are the Clubhouse Chalet and the Colonel’s Club VIP deck and both of these will also have private beach areas with beach chairs included

You are welcome to bring umbrellas and beach chairs. Coolers are permissible but they cannot contain any alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase in the Drop Zone as will food and beverage.

A1A hard close is North of the W at Vista Mar. You will be okay getting to the W from Las Olas or 17th Street.

We are staying at the Ft lauderdale Beach Resort on Sunrise and A1A. Will there be a way into the hotel since the roads will be closed and will overnight parking be allowed at the Galleria?

Yes, you can get to the Westin from Las Olas or from 17th Street and go North on A1A. There will be no access from Sunrise Blvd South

There will be some day-of-event parking available at Galleria Mall. There are also city and private lots around the Las Olas area and at Oakland Park Blvd

Yes, guests staying at the B Ocean will be able to get across the Sunrise bridge. Coolers are allowed as long as they don’t contain any alcohol. Umbrellas are also allowed

There are some flyovers from behind the crowd that are loud but most of the show won’t be bad, they are 1,800 feet out in the ocean. You can bring chairs and umbrellas in the Drop Zone.
Will rain cancel the performance? What is the refund policy in case of bad weather?
We pause the show if there are showers, the only thing that can cause a full on cancellation is an outright rain out the entire day.
I will be attending the show Saturday but was wondering on Sunday how far out the planes fly? We live a few miles down Sunrise and was hoping to get a few glimpses of the planes from home. Also are any planes taking off from Ft Lauderale airport where we can see them taking off and landing?

Hello I am handicap but do not need a wheelchair just a walker. I have a handicap sign and can’t walk a 1/2 a mile what do i do?? ADA requires parking for all paid events. I do not mine paying for parking. It cant not be a 1/2 a mile.

Hi Joe, general viewing for the event is free. There will be handicapped parking in the SE corner lot of the Galleria Mall and a shuttle will be available on a pay-per-passenger basis

You need to take the voucher to the guest services desk at the mall on or before April 27th and pay $10 and they will give you a parking permit. The permit will guarantee you parking until 1p of the event day it is valid for

It guarantees you parking if you arrive by 1pm. After 1pm all reserved spaces will be released by the mall.

Yes, there is a handicapped lot in the SE corner of the mall with a pay-per-passenger shuttle. If you need a second pass the mall will sell you a second one for $15

I cant get to the galleria to redeem my parking voucher for tickets purchased for drop zone. It is took much work for this handicapped person. With a party of 8, all should be able to fit under your canopy. It would just be disrespectful to those around and behind you for a party of two to bring a 10×10
